Amsterdam
November 2023
The stormy weather did not prevent participants from 30 different countries coming to the Netherlands. The second Mosaic Forum in Amsterdam focused on dealing with cultural difference in public affairs. With presentations by experts from Huhtamaki, Oracle, and ORS, participants discussed the challenge of overseeing engagement with officials in multiple countries. In an interactive session with Caelesta Braun, Professor of Public Governance and Civil Society at Leiden University, the discussion centered around lobby regulations in different countries and whether the call for transparency had led to a better public debate. The forum also decided to have a session on the impact of artificial intelligence on the work of the public affairs profession at each upcoming forum.
Rome
March 2023
Mosaic was founded in Rome with the adoption of its charter. The founding members discussed how to develop a platform where professionals in international trade relations, communications and public affairs could share insights and learn from each other. It was decided that future forums should provide for in-depths discussions, networking- and fun!
